Nauvoo

The Lewis family does make it to Nauvoo occasionally, however not nearly as much as they'd like to. This picture taken on their last trip was worth the mention of the trip. Abie had fallen asleep and Benjamin awakened. He saw her hand hanging over and thought it would be fun to hold. Luckily it didn't interfere with Abie's nap. So you might be thinking, man that sounds like a breeze of a trip! It is a good 2 hour drive each way and should be mentioned that not long after this picture Abie awoke also. Having left Benjamin's pacifier at home (not intentionally, but not realizing it until an hour into the drive there) he began to let his voice be heard which then caused Abie to join in the fun. The last 20 min of the drive home was a loud one!
