Family Vacation

The Lewis' took advantage of some mandatory time off of work for a road trip to Utah! Taylor's parents celebrated 40 years of marriage so all the cousins were together for a couple of days to celebrate. Not to bore everyone with all the details here are some highlights of what they did:

Abie & Benjamin did really well for the long 20 hour trip each way - yes drove straight through - thank goodness for the laptop!
Pool Time! Benjamin stuck to the side with toys...then developed a fear of the pool.....but by the end of the trip he was conned back in - still a bit skeptical of the whole idea
While Abie was quite adventurous!
all the cousins jumping in - Abie changed her mind
Feeding the ducks (and fish)

Spanish Fork rodeo
buggy ride with Cousin Rick - Abie's pulling the show!
Hogle Zoo trip!
Kenecott Copper Mine - Taylor helps make the fuel tanks for these monster trucks (between the tires, hanging in the middle)
Here's an idea of how big the trucks are
Oquirrh Mountain Temple - with Kirsten & Reagan Fails
And lastly a visit to BYU campus

It was a great trip - so good to see all the family & friends! And yes, 100 degree weather in Utah is much more pleasant than 80 degree weather in IL....remember: humidity!

Looks like a fun trip. You guys are pretty brave, taking a huge road trip with two little ones. Glad they did well. And I love your hair in the temple picture--very cute :)
