Taylor had felt jipped to have missed out on the St. Louis Zoo both times. However each visit was only 45 min and the zoo not fully taken in. So Friday afternoon it was decided to make the trip!
A perfect day for the zoo. Shorts, no humidity, and no real need for sunblock...yes, this was November 1, 2008 in St. Louis. It couldn't have been planned and been any better! While no lions were actually seen, there were plenty of great photo shots of all the animals. It's being noted as potentially the best "animal" zoo visit ever for Taylor & Jacqie. Nearly all of them were out and about, playing and posing, and even up close too!
The visit was topped off with a treat of Dippin' Dots. Then out to eat for a good meal before making the drive back. Abie & Benjamin enjoyed Cinderella on the Lewis family make-shift portable dvd player. Complete with the sound being piped through the speakers! Give them enough cords & gadgets and the 2 engineers will make it work!
